The first step in addressing a valuation puzzle is to determine which services best suit the client's needs. In many instances Gadd, Tibble
& Associates, Inc. has found that what a client first perceives as the needed service is not necessarily the best service required to address the issues. Through the initial interview with one of our principals, the critical components of an assignment can be identified. They include not only the physical and locational aspects of a property but more importantly the purpose of the services needed and their intended use. Once these specific components have been identified the scope of work can be defined, and Gadd, Tibble & Associates Inc. can guide the client to the appropriate service that will best fulfill the client's particular valuation needs. In many cases, a full appraisal may not be necessary, and instead a simple consultation or a market study is all that is required.
